A few chocolate cookies tastes good! Apart from that, not quite my best day ever. I seem to harbor a couple of low-intensity infections. I'll try to let them fade by themselves if I don't get significant fever.
On the brighter side, there is the "Legendary Harley-Davidson" after shave balm. I already had the deodorant. I find it hard to see why they use the name of a motorcycle worshipped by violent criminals, but the actual skin care product is quite good. One of the best smells I've tried so far. It also lasts fairly long, and the fragrance is actually at its best in the looong, slooow fading process. A fairly masculine fragrance too, by modern standards, without smelling "animal". Recommended, though I know that not all fragrances suit all people.
Heavy traffic in the alt.games.daggerfall newsgroup, my "home away from home" on the Usenet. It seems to have absorbed the new Bethsoft game, Redguard, too. Surprising, since the two are quite different. Daggerfall is a classic role playing environment for the PC (that's personal computer, not politically correct) whereas Redguard is a slightly action-based adventure game. Oh well. I still have time for a few e-mails if people want. If I stay alive, I will usually reply sooner or later!
Got the closing bill from THORN Norge, you know the people with a somewhat hysterical attitude towards small bills not paid on time. Sum total rest $49. I feel a slight temptation to not pay it and see what happens. Not that I ought to joke about such things...
For the non-Norwegian readers here, I have the pleasure to announce that our assembly of elected representatives have, uhm, elected to raise their own wages significantly (with a few persons on the left and right wing voting agains, secure in the knowledge that their vote would have no real influence). Good to see a broad political consensus developing, after all the tumults about who could cut the most in next years budget. :)
