Pic of the day: My brother Torfinn. He and his wife and their two kids
were, surprisingly, visiting this part of the country. I'm sad to say
that their youngest son was rather sick, with fever and some vomiting.
I hope it all goes well with the little one. He wasn't much company
this evening, that's for sure.
I slept long this morning, caught up on e-mail and newsgroups, washed
the floor (there were parts with visible dust, can't be healthy).
The place is still in a state of chaos, but a few things have been
rearranged, tipping a hat to order. Not that a casual visitor would
notice. Went for a walk and got some pictures from the prelude to
winter. And the whole evening was spent with my brother's family
and some in-laws of his. Nice enough people.
I'm not feeling completely well myself, but I hope it's not too big.
I feel thankful to be home alive. The roads are not at their best:
A small amount of snow has fallen, and many places it has melted
on the roads and then refrozen into a thin layer of ice. I was
surprised when I was out walking to find that it was hard even
to walk securely. It did not look as bad as it felt.
