Came home late this evening. Testing of the e-mail system
revealed various errors in our setup. One spelling error by
yours truly, several in the underlying lists I had to work with,
and finally one lady who (despite official records) kept using
her pre-marriage name in the e-mail address. It should work now,
but I had to send e-mail to small groups of users or even to an
individual user to test out what was wrong. Not that I don't
deserve this and more.
I bought myself a scarf - I think that's what they're called,
long pieces of wool cloth to wrap around the neck in winter.
I tend to lose them after a while. I guess I should have bought
a cheaper one, if I intended to lose it. Also paid the last
dentist bill and bought a bag of chocolate. :)
The meteor shower of my life, probably, is going on in the
clear sky outside. Except that Leo doesn't clear the hills
north-east of here until late in the night. If I had been
as eager as I was when I was a kid, I would certainly have climbed
some high terrain and waited in the freezing cold. As it is, I
don't. Let the burning dust motes entertain other people...
