Pic of the day: Yet another of my "autumn tree" sets of clothes.
In this case the trunk is dark grey rather than brown, and the
shirt has an interwoven pattern of various fall leaf colors.
As you can see, my hair (and beard) color is a natural continuation
of these colors, which may explain my liking for them.
I've spent my spare time today writing the first known Guide to
Daggerfall Nudity.
Now concerned persons
can find text on where in this popular game nudity is likely to
appear, what the rationale for this is, how serious it is, and how
to avoid it (while still enjoying the scenic roleplaying environment
of Daggerfall). My personal attitude on the matter may also be
guessed by the intelligent reader by carefully studying the whole
article. For what it may be worth.
Today, as I stood watching a shop window, I was hailed by a young
woman I've met but once or twice since she was a girl. She still
wore the subtle but distinctive garb of Smith's Friends, the pious
congregation who taught me most of what I know about Christianity
and much about psychology. And she still looked quite happy. I
suspect that it's still a joyful place to be young, in particular
for the girls. No pressure to have sex (quite the opposite), but
lots of room for dreamy romance; reliable friends, simple and solid
rules, always something to do. You can study whatever you want,
and if you decide to drop out of higher education you'll be hailed
as a hero rather than as a loser. A win-win-win situation, at
least for those of an innocent persuation.
