Yes, I actually sort of like this album. (I don't know where it is sold outside Scandinavia. It is Swedish. Quite so.) One day as I stood outside a shop window ... well, I heard this cutiful music. ("Katie" in this case.) So I slinked in and bought it. And, well, there are small pieces of rap in most of the songs. White rap, but still rap. That is irritating, like pieces of spinach in otherwise good food, and harder to pick away than the spinach. But the rest of the sound picture is delicious in many - perhaps even most - of the songs. The musical base is solid. They would make good .MIDs. And Isabelle Heitmann sings nicely enough. Meet them at Remixed Records, and get a snatch of their happy music in RealAudio.
My stomach has been extreme today, I am not planning to ever grin condescendingly to other people's stomach problems again. Well not tonight, that's for sure.
Did I whine about being kicked out from AltaVista? Well, I am. I was listed there this summer, now I'm gone as if I never existed. Yes, this site is insignificant, but given some of the flotsam, jetsam and sesam that is drifting on the bitstream ... today we tried to search for the lyrics to "Big Big Girl", and despite judicious use of quote signs the HotBot came up with 38 sites of hardcore porn. Found the lyrics though, and someone was reasonably happy. Now to find the actual album or single on which it resides. :)
Oh, and HotBot hasn't updated its image of my site in months either. I think the system is breaking down - not the bandwith but the indexing. Most of the interesting things I have found, I have found from other people's pages, rather than the major search engines.
