Sims 2: Olsen week 2

Back to 2 Gravel Road and the Olsen family. It is a time of change even here.

Andrea: So what is the first woohoo like? It is kind of special, isn't it?

Petter: Hee hee, she said 'woohoo'!

Hans: Andrea! You shouldn't think about such things yet!

Andrea: Why not? You are used to thinking of me as that little girl who never changes...

Andrea: ...but you don't notice that I have grown up. Look at me! I am no longer that little girl.

How quickly they grow up! So, kitten, what do you want to be when you grow up?

Andrea: Minister of Education! I want that bookshelf so bad I can almost chew it.

A knowledge sim! Always a pleasure for us angels, since we can just plop you down in front of a book case and relax.

I am glad you two are very close, but I don't really think it is customary for siblings to dance with each other. Not saying it is wrong, as such, but ... unusual.

Leon: Well, someone needs to teach her.

Time flies again, and suddenly Petter has a birthday and gets into his teen clothes. You sure look more manly now! Of course, I remember you as a cuddly little toddler clinging to your grandpa...

Petter: Aww come on! Don't say such embarrassing things in front of the whole family!

So, what is your aspiration in life?

Petter: I just want to have fun! Jumping on the couch, going on dates, wearing pajamas...

Please don't combine all three of them at the same time, at least. Good thing your sister gives me some free time!

OK, that is definitely NOT normal. Certainly not alone outside the house in the dark. Please don't tell me that she needs SOMEONE to practice on.

Petter: !!! I did not see that just now, did I?

It is probably best you didn't. I think Leon is going to college a bit earlier than Hans. His family sim instincts may be ready for a family of his own.

Bye Leon! Enjoy your stay at college!

Everyone: Bye Leon! Bye Leon!

Leon: How did this happen so suddenly?

Darius: Shelly! Were you also invited to Leon's farewell party?

Shelly: Tee hee... I invited myself here...

Harry: Yeah, I've been through the tests and they said there's nothing more to do. This is the end, little brother. I guess my wild youth didn't help any, either.

Rory: There must be something! Neighborhood angel, are you there? Isn't there something you can do?

Can... yes. Am allowed... no. I could just say a few magic words and touch any of you, and you would be young again. But that is against the rules. There is a greater plan at work, Rory. I think Harry has accepted it.

Harry: Don't try to feed me that elixir of life. There is barely enough for you, little brother, and your family needs you.

And not just your family. You are the only one in the neighborhood with a gold badge right now. We need you to help get the economy going. Sorry.

Rory: It's not fair!

Harry: Yes it is. You are the responsible one. You need to stay and keep everyone going.

Harry: I know I spent my life chasing skirts, but I am glad I got these last years together with you. Little brother, you are not just my family, you are my best friend.

Best friends forever...

Harry: That sure is a lot of sand at the bottom. Have I really lived that many hours?

Death: YES. THAT WAS THE LAST GRAIN.

Harry: Bury me downtown, will you? I want to watch the nightlife and scare teens that make out in the bushes.

I'll make a whole new cemetery there which you get the honor of opening. On a small hill between the downtown and the sea.

Harry: Time to lift the anchor, then.

Everyone: Waah!

Shelly: Let me comfort you!

Darius: Mmm...

You guys are not even family!

Darius: Well, I'm a family friend. I even got a bit of the life insurance.

Shelly: I'm a friend of the family friend! Strange that I didn't get any.

You'll never get any this way.

The cemetery is ready! I called it "The Other Shore".

Harry's ghost: You take care now, kitten!

Weekend tradition for the young ones: Mall of the sims!

Orville: So I'm thinking of going to college. My friends Grant and Alison are there already, I will probably get into the same dorm as them. Unless you are going too, Hans? I suppose you will be with Leon in that big new dorm.

Hans: I guess so. I hadn't really thought about you though.

Right. Who are you anyway? You can't just freeride on my playable sims to fame, you know.

Orville: I am Orville Hopkins! I am best friends with Grant Craft and Alison Grady.

Hmm, so you are. For some reason I haven't noticed you much. You're no Jimmy Ramsey, that's for sure.

Orville: I always hang out at the mall. That's why all of the young people know me.

But it is a stress to have extra characters in college. You need an invitation from an existing main character, and you must be best friends.

Orville: Grant will invite me.

Grant will invite almost everyone. He is a popularity sim. I'll think about it. Even if you go to college, you may still end up in the family bin afterwards. But at least you'll have a cell phone.

It is Sunday, and Rory is having an old friend over. He has something to do... don't you Rory?

Rory: Here, take this. It's a snapdragon bouquet. A gift for your family... from Harry.

In a manner of speaking. And so it begins...
