Lots of people in town today after work. They are probably
shopping gifts for Christmas. Or perhaps just looking at all
the people shopping gifts, just like me. :)
It was so mild that I could go without a cap. And this is Norway,
in the middle of December! Woo hoo! If this is the greenhouse effect,
give us more of it! Of course, the real Christmas feeling doesn't come
until the snow is falling, but I don't miss it much. Special days
are not special to me anymore. Except perhaps the special days when
I can be with my best friend(s), but that's regardless of time and
weather. I remember when I was MUCH younger than today, that I hoped
Jesus would not return until after Christmas. Now I frankly regard
Christmas as a waste of time, energy, money. But at least I get two
days off from work, and those I hope to put to good use. Namely by
spending most of my waking hours with an intelligent, beautiful,
charming, witty, thoughtful, sporty young woman with an excellent
taste in music, food, clothes and (obviously!) friends. ;)
I'm not planning to go until Dec 22, though, so I can still handle
a few e-mails before that, I hope.
