Pic of the day: Moment from the Dogz II screensaver. Guest starring
Shaun the Great Dane, who normally "lives" on the PC at work.
Slept over noon today, and woke up tired from dreaming that I
pedal-biked to town (which I actually did sometimes when I was
younger). On the bright side, when I came to the top of the
insanely long hill there were several people there including
my best friend and she smiled to me, one of her special smiles,
so it wasn't really a bad dream after all. :)
It's been a total pajamas day, just shuffling around the house
and eating. After I got my paws on some good pasta herbs mix,
it's fun to just cook various spaghettis and tortellini and
eat it with a little butter or olive oil (or both). Easy to
make, total bachelor food, and easy to digest. I also munched
the last of the cheese. (Note to self: More cheese!)
-I have a page lying on my fridge, where it has been for several years
now. It is something like a comic strip only less strict, more
a series of drawings. First it shows a skinny, depressed mouse.
Then the mouse lights up - got an idea. Next a smiling mouse
carries in a big cheese. It proceeds to frantically eat the
cheese. The last picture shows a fat, depressed mouse.
I'm not sure if this accounts for me tending to buy very little cheese.
Actually cheese is richer in proteins than some costly protein supplements.
It does contain some fat, though, so it might be an idea to use less
animal fat from other sources (butter, whole milk, fat meats) if I
eat more cheese. It certainly doesn't seem to hurt the French, who
on average live quite long despite their drinking and driving.
Of course, they may have other hobbies too.
