Catching up for NaNoWriMo

I have started writing the pre-story to (what I think will be) this year's NaNoWriMo novel. Yes, it is about the Lightwielders, the clerical mages that are unable to lie. Obviously I am not, since the stories are technically lies. Even so, I should probably not compound my hypocricy by pretending that I will somehow manage to catch up on three weeks of journal ever, much less when we actually come to November and the typical journal entry presumably will be of the type "Cat exploded, 1500 easy words".

So I plan to hit the fast forward button like mad. I won't write anything unless I have something to say, perhaps not even then. I apologize profusely, since this journal is my life's work, but it is for a good cause. Such as letting people see what happens shortly after it happens, rather than the next month.

Oh, and I wrote 3000 words on the backstory, so all in all it was a good day! ^^
