Short: Got one!

Forum PvP! I've set up the Chaosnode.net forum to mail me whenever someone registers with a fake e-mail address. I've also set it up to require visual identification to register an account. Even so, I tend to only come after they have already posted their inane drivel, and wipe it away before the googlebots have time to come index it.

But finally I got the satisfaction of getting a live one. The mail fetcher pinged me while I was at home writing, and announced another fake address. I immediately jumped over to the forum and went into the admin menu. There was the new identity, busily posting a message. I checked his homepage. Yep, phentermine something. So I banned his IP while he was still squatting in my forum, then checked. Success! No poop in forum, I had got him in time. Dude, I can totally understand people who do Player vs Player fighting in online games now. There is a certain unmitigated joy to it... wait, let me see if I find that quote. Nope, it is lost in the sea of religious texts on Google, but it is something like "People never do evil with such joy as when they do it with a good conscience."
