Fast forward

Cold weekend. In my new apartment (which I have not moved into yet and probably won't until near Christmas) there is a minor damage. I did not discover when I first was there and looked it over, but in the bathroom, the cold water handle of the faucet is broken at its root. Cannot be operated. I guess this says something profound about the previous owner. At least he must have used it once, to break it!

(I broke mine here too, some years ago, so perhaps it is a common weakness. But at least it's a good chance it won't be broken when I leave it. Hopefully I'll get the floor fixed before February too, as planned.)
