Kagami from anime Lucky Star

Pic of the day: Yes, about this morning...

Fast forward

I had a leg cramp again this morning, but it was milder than last summer. Not only did I not lose my senses for some minutes afterwards, but I was also less stiff. Then again, if I don't get queasy and weak and see yellow lights, I will make my way to the kitchen as quickly as I can and take a small dose of acetylsalisylic acid. While I usually don't take the stuff because it is bad for the stomach lining, it also prevents stiffness after heavy exercise. And you don't get much heavier exercise than cramps in large muscles.

Intriguingly, this time I felt a kind of premonition when I went to bed the night before. I even thought that maybe I should have walked longer, but by then it was too late. When I go to bed, it is typically very late and I am so tired I am barely conscious. Perhaps drinking water would have helped, since these cramps seem to happen in the summer and the doctor last time thought lack of water may have been the reason. Unfortunately I was already almost too full as it was. I can't go to sleep too full, or I get acid reflux, which is not good either.

In other news, my brain age was measured as 57 today. It was 80 the first day, but of course then I was not familiar with the Brain Training interface. Then yesterday 51 (so no bashing my kneecaps in to keep me from going on a murder spree during my long years of Alzheimers. Only partly joking here.) Today again the game threw a new test at me that I had not seen before. It had pulsing and even worse, sliding numbers. I can count pulsing numbers easily enough, but the sliders threw me off for a while.
