Fast forward

My sense of time is indeed somewhat "blurred". For instance, I was surprised to see that it was now a year since I was playing my first "Megafamily Challenge" in The Sims 2. I thought that I was playing large families this past fall, and then moved on to apartment complexes this winter. I guess this is similar to the old people who say "My how you are grown" whenever they meet a child. They thought it was just now recently that the child was small, but actually it was years ago. Perhaps this is a sign that I am growing old ... eventually.
