Pic of the day: Barely containable energy. Because you really, really don't want a picture of today's topic.

Digestive truce: Ended

For many weeks, since spring mostly, my digestion has been extremely gracious by my standards. It has politely accepted whatever I threw at it (though I wasn't crazy enough to try fat). I could even eat bananas and prune yogurt without mad bathroom dash resulting, as they would before. Whereas I usually seemed to have some kind of "irritable bowel syndrome", it now seemed I had "happy complacent bowel syndrome". I even gave it small amounts of dark chocolate!

Alas, this was not to last, as of two days ago. I blame either the weekend's all-night City of Heroes party throwing my day rhythm off, or the milk chocolate covered caramels that I ate the day before. Anyway, the ceasefire is broken. My intestines are once again in a state of civil unrest. And it is going to last for weeks. (I know this because I am writing this weeks later.)

Sic(k) transit gloria mundi.
