Coded green.
Pic of the day: No, it hasn't suddenly become summer here. This is a screenshot from the RPG Oblivion. Fast forwardNot much to report. The house owner did indeed come back on Wednesday. He now lives in the basement, in an ironic reversal of my adult life so far. Then again he is in the basement-living age bracket, while I am not. He hasn't showed up to inspect the house, evidently he is satisfied with not hearing the sound of furniture breaking. I do hear his TV and stereo, but only faintly, nothing to keep me awake at night. Not that I go to bed early anyway. The splinter in my foot is getting encased in skin, I think. It is more visible now as a dark shadow, but it hurts less. I returned to work after one and a half day, on Tuesday, but have not yet taken up the long walks again. On the other hand, as it were, my wrist and arm hurt a bit now. This probably comes from playing Oblivion, which I am not familiar with yet. I am switching from mouse to controller, which will help over time. Also being less nervous while playing will help, the game is still new and exciting to me. Generally I am still moving things to the new machine. It is a slow and relaxed process, as the old machine has still not broken down fully and probably won't for a while. But I keep using the new one and pulling over the things I miss. |
