Charles Craft was the first baby born in Micropolis. There were no couples among the six families who moved here, and the two adult unattached bachelors were both romance sims with a fear of babies. Only when family father Al Craft remarried, could the second generation begin. That's why there is a rather big gap between Charles and the children who came to Micropolis and largely grew up before he was born.
Charles is a knowledge sim, but he does have a few friends in addition to his books. Among them is his high school sweetheart (now wife) Brandy and friends Jo Greer and Barbara Patton. Once he moved to college, he naturally wanted his best friends to go there too, and so some of them moved into the same house. While he is most often found with a good book or a computer, Charles is also an excellent painter. He recently graduated from college with top grades and moved back to Micropolis. Here he rents a family apartment in the Lakeview Hills complex with his wife Brandy. (Married year 50.)
