Pic of the day: On one Earth we observed what seemed to be angels ...

Weird little dream

I woke by myself an hour early this morning, probably because of the sheer weirdness of this dream. We (not sure who "we" were) had a kind of small spaceship except it took us to alternate Earths instead. They were pretty different. We were of course hiding the ship so the locals did not catch on, but we had to be careful since we would stand out with our clothes and our language. We spent a lot of time in a barn once, for instance. On one Earth we observed what seemed to be angels, and they were clearly aware of us but let us alone. The locals did not seem to regard them as shocking or unusual. At one point we observed another ship and briefly saw its crew, who were all women and so similar that they may be clones, and all dressed in the same green clothes that showed quite a bit more skin than is usual.

The last world we visited before I woke up was very similar to our own, with cities and cars, although the cars looked slightly different and their licence plates had decimals but no letters. In this world I got separated from the others in the city. I found that some few of the locals spoke our language to some degree, thanks to a priest who had worked here before. Their religion glorified cannibalism but unfortunately in a more literal way than my own. When the urge to eat a human comes over them, they consider the impulse holy and do not resist it. It may be that this applies only to the women, though. An unknown man rescued me with a car after I had failed to convert a small group of women with cake. It was at this point I woke up and elected to not go back to sleep, although I could use that extra hour. I suspect if I continued this dream, however, I would be more tired than by waking! Whew.
