Pic of the day: The contents!

Amazon package!

I got my package from Amazon.co.uk today. It contained, as seen in the picture, Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Smallville Season 6. This was a mistake, I believe. Not necessarily buying Smallville season 6, but ordering it at the same time as the more expensive software. Since they came in the same package, I had to pay tax for both of them. If I had bought the DVD package separately, the price would have been too low to warrant tax according to Norwegian law. I would have had to pay more freight, but it would hardly amounts to 25% of the value, as the Norwegian sales taxes do. (It is at least as high in Sweden and Denmark, incidentally.)

(Smallville, on the other hand, will distract me from writing for most of the next week. Then again, there seems to always be things to distract me from writing. Perhaps it is more correct to say that it will distract me from other distractions, much good it does you.)
