Pic of the day: Why don't little old ladies come over to me and talk about their Very First Woohoo, like these Sims? I am sure it would improve my novels immeasurably. Or perhaps not ... there is a similar thread on the NaNoWriMo forum.

Fast forward

I am going through a patch of bad throat and bad wrist. This is pretty much the end of the dream that I might complete 50 000 words of novel in November. Not that anyone believed that even before, of course. But I'm closer than usual, at least if you count the one I abandoned after 10 days...

Playing Civilization is bad for my wrist, but the Sims2 seems to have no effect, probably because I can use the pen to direct the Sims, and they also do a lot on their own.
