Pic of the day: On the road to the borderlands. (Screenshot from Dark Age of Camelot.) A Norwegian in King Arthur's CourtI have now adjusted to the American day rhythm, so I can play Dark Age of Camelot with my guild. I have a blast. I played all night until most of the people had to go to bed in America. By then it was daylight here, and I went to bed and slept until nightfall (about 6 hours). Then I got up, fixed some food, read some on the Internet, and wrote a chapter of NaNoWriMo. I am getting fed up with NaNoWriMo. I napped a little in my chair, then it was time to play DAoC all night again until the next morning. I don't like my NaNoWriMo novel. It has no point, no message, and it is not amusing except for the sexual innuendo. Which is not really amusing, except humans are stupid and primitive and it makes me feel better to make fun of them. But my heart is not really in it. I much prefer to be a paladin: Defend the weak and bash in the face of the undead. And my guild is great: We go out of the way to help each other, and have good and wholesome fun without mocking others or causing needless grief. I don't think I have seen such a friendly, helpful and morally upright group of people since Smith's Friends. (Not that the two groups are comparable otherwise.) Perhaps I should have written a novel about paladins instead. ^_^ Oh well, a bit late now. -_- |
I slept through the day. No idea what weather there was. |
