In-between day

Nothing interesting happened today that I know of. I am sure I could still write a long entry if I had the wrist for it, or dictate one if I had the throat for it. But both of these are limited resources, as is my time -- and yours.

For instance, I could write more about the manga Kare Kano and the reflections it has brought to my mind. But then I would write more generally about falling in love and why not, and it would probably be a long entry in itself. Especially now that spring is in the air and pretty girls are everywhere. It seems that certain topics come easier to the mind at this time of the year, even though they are no longer even possibly relevant for me. Even though the doors are closed, locked and the keys thrown away and forgotten... if the doors were ever anything more than paintings on the wall. Did it really take Japanese writers for me to understand a bit about human love? Or is it just that I have finally stopped mentally blocking my brain now that the danger is over? Perhaps I should write about it later, if I get the chance.

Also I'm spending more of the day playing Sims2 lately. For a while I used to play it only just before bedtime, to get sleepy. But the new "Spanner Dynasty" story arc has revitalized the game for me, so I could easily play the whole evening without getting tired. (Do humans really use words like "revitalized", or is it just me? You probably would say "... made the game come alive again", or even "... made the game fun and interesting again". The sad truth is that I actually think things like "revitalized" and "consensus reality". Then if I am lucky and have the time, I remember to translate into human language.)

But tomorrow some small thing actually happens, so I should tell you about that instead. Tomorrow.
