Coded green.
Pic of the day: Actually love story is what I don't get along to writing. Presumably the urge will fade when not fed. Out of hand againMy hand has worsened again. Too much typing and too little walking. And my throat is not really up to taking over the workload, although the speech recognition software is beginning to work decently. I had to install it on the new machine and teach it all over again. Actually I have two "users" on it now, one that works pretty well most of the time, and one that doesn't, and I have no idea why. April and May are typically months where my hand gets worse. (It is always the right, I think it may have taken some permanent damage from using the mouse, but these days typing is enough to gradually wear it down.) And of course November, because it is Novel Writing Month. June is more like the month I expect my hand to heal but it doesn't. It has certainly been worse than this, but it is much worse than it was this winter. As for the "not enough walking", this probably has to do with my new sleep patterns. Lately I seem to have stabilized in a new pattern: Sleeping two hours or so in the evening, then staying awake all night, then sleeping 4-5 hours in the morning before hurrying to work. When I come home from work, I am tired ... not quite sleepy yet, but out of energy. My energetic time of the day (or rather night) is now from midnight to 4-5 in the morning. This is not a good time to take a walk, at least not if I don't want to scare up the neighbors, at least two of which have dogs. I do walk on Saturdays, though, but I should really walk an hour a day to keep the blood flow high enough that my arm does not grow stiff again. OK, a bit late for that now. But over some months, enough walking seems to repair the body. And at least my leg is fine again now. |
