Coded green.
Pic of the day: This picture was taken in early June. I've never seen them bloom this late, I think. Fast forwardBecause I can't write something deep and thought-provoking every day, or even something entertaining. So let't talk about the weather to catch up. This spring was long and cold, even though the winter had been pretty normal. The poppies by the roadside bloomed in early June, while last time I photographed themw as in the first half of May. That's pretty radical, because spring tends to be quite fast here in Norway. Only these last few days have there been several days in a row with heat. And even that is not slated to last, on Sunday the clouds will come back. That is fine by me, because I am very much not a tropical hominid. Perhaps a little drop of Neander blood runs in me after all? Because despite my lack of brow ridges, I can't stand the heat. (Actually I don't really believe the theory that Europeans have some Neanderthal ancestry. I think it is a case of "convergent evolution" that we are adapted to a colder and darker climate. Still, it makes for good science fiction.) |
