Duoing

Unwanted and unexpected day off. Not the best of days. I pretty much ran out of fresh food. Not to worry, I have spaghetti for a few weeks and salt and herbs to season it. Still, I kinda miss the dairy products that usually make up most of my menu.

Played Dark Age of Camelot in the evening till 00:30AM. It was fun. I grouped with an infiltrator class player, and he was not stupid. I guess the stupid are mostly weeded out before level 35. ^_^

Infiltrators and scouts love us paladins, now that we have the endurance chant. (Not yet available on European servers, coming soon.) These leather classes do their damage fast and furiously, so burn a lot of stamina in a short time. Together we could chain pull orange-con critters (that is, twice as powerful as each of us). This does not sound like much, until you consider that infiltrators can usually never chain pull. They have to rest a while to restore their stamina and usually heal some wounds too. (They only wear leather.) With my stamina and heal chants, we could pull again after ten seconds. Probably faster, but I did not want to rush it.

I like small groups. As a matter of fact, I like small groups in real life too, preferably groups of two or three. This may sound strange, given my seemingly eternal singleness and solitude. But the same applies as in the game: Only when they are not stupid. And in real life, the stupid ones are not weeded out before 35. Well, not in civilized countries at least.

Some of the best hours of my life has been spent alone with my best friend, when the others had gone to bed. And don't get your perversity meter up either. Just talking or playing games.

I love being two, I wish I could be that a lot more, but I can't. (Not without involving stupid people at least.) That's just the way it is, and I count myself lucky that I can survive going solo too ... even in real life.
