Fast forward

I don't really do much these days that is worth describing, except play Oblivion. I'll report to you on two great mods soon (user-made extensions to the game). Those of you who are not interested in games will probably have to wait some days for your next shipment. I do have some topics in the works, but they are not as time-limited as the Hot New Game.

A woman here in Norway was cutting her mutton when she found sheep feces is the meat. She was not amused and alerted the media. It fit right in with the alarm about kids getting sick from E.Coli bacteria also from Gilde, the near-monopoly on meat here in Norway. Not that American market economy has a better track record with bacteria in food... Think of that, ye carnivores, and despair.

Oh yes, and the Norwegian currency has finally strengthened, and the US$ is finally sliding. This will let me buy cheap e-books from the USA again. None too early.
