Coded green.
Pic of the day: "My heart is beating faster just from hearing it" say these two innocent girls from the anime Shuffle. I, however, still have to do it the old-fashioned way, by walking up long hills (or running down the other side). I'm pulseEven though I was pretty worn out yesteday, I woke up today barely stiff at all. My pulse watch revealed that my pulse was now as low as it has ever been since I started measuring it. That's considered a good thing: I don't have a pathologically low pulse, just lower than normal for my age. My resting pulse on a good day is around 50, whereas the norm is 70-80. This is the pulse of either an athlete or a healthy young man. Since I almost never commited sports, even in my childhood (due to temporary asthma teaching me that exercise is a deadly danger), I suppose that means that my body thinks it is still young. Hah. But with normal lifespan in my family being around 90, it may not know any better. Anyway, as usual when I notice my pulse is low, I took a long walk on the hill roads. And then, since it was still low, I took another walk. That helped; the pulse went back up a bit. I have it the same way with computers. I cannot bear seeing them standing idle. They should have some load. I believe it is the same thing about me and my heart. Bodies should be doing something. Now it has to adjust the various energy deposits again, refilling glycogen, moving fat from long-term storage to places where it is needed. And I can rest happy, knowing that my body is working for me. ^^ |
