Pic of the day: And the winner is ... BOTTLE FAIRY! Enjoy this picture of the most beautiful, most innocent little fairies Japan can imagine. A favorite of children and parents alike, soon coming to America courtesy of Geneon. Or so they said, on the Anime Boston 2005 (end of April). Expect some production time. As per your requestI've looked at the stats of my Chaosnode.net site, and there was a list of the top search keywords people have used to hit my site using search engines (as opposed to links, thank goodness). Here's the leaders:
17 bottle fairy Admittedly Dears got more hits altogether, but I've randomly decided to ignore this because Bottle Fairy is so cute. (And a lot more decent.) I also just watched a couple episodes of it again. On fansub, since it is not yet officially translated into English. It is amazingly fun for an anime that is obviously targeted at children. I am sure even grandparents will enjoy the innocent little creatures. If you are not familiar with Japanese cartoons, you may not be aware how many of my top 20 hits are anime, even when that is not part of the search string. Sims2 is not, that's a game, and a good one too. I also seriously doubt that "female butt" is the name of an anime, certainly none that I have seen. Rubies of Eventide, Morrowind and DAoC are all role playing games for the PC. Strangely enough, though, Psychic Academy really is the name of an anime. My apologies to all the budding mediums (or would that be "media"?) who came looking for an appropriate education... ***
What struck me next was the things that were not on the list. Namely,
the things where reading my journal might actually deepen your
understanding. For instance... Perhaps I am writing too much about anime and too little about my own life? Or perhaps people just don't know how to ask? Perhaps they don't even know some of these things are possible? Or perhaps my own life simply isn't very interesting unless you are me... But when you are me, believe me, there's a lot of interesting things in the world. Including but not limited to anime. |
