Pic of the day: Screenshot from City of Heroes. The guy with white hair is Dr Clive, one of my characters. The lady to the right is EMBERELLA (yes, spelled in all caps). Judging from the outfit, I took it for granted that she was played by a lower teen years boy. That is, until she admitted that she had learned the game by watching her husband play! This is where you just say "..." Just when you think you know men and women, they suddenly blow it all.

Embers, ice and salt

Short, short. Because catching up is hard to do!

To the best of my knowledge, nothing grand or important happened in my life this day. I probably played City of Heroes all day, and the frost in my fridge grew slightly thicker. Did you know that if you put salt on ice, it will melt in a process that actually draws heat from the environment? I belive you can get down to -13 degrees celsius (13 degrees below freezing) that way. Of course if you do this to your fridge, you better not have anything in there that corrodes easily.

I am still alive and basically healthy, except for the arm which will probably never heal completely. But even that is not too bad right now. I am also slightly fatter than recommended. Certainly more than my heroic avatars!
