Bleary

Pic of the day: Bleary. It's high noon, and the Chaos Wizard is just out of bed.

Woke up from dreaming that I was a small, self-willed robot. Small as in ca 10 cm. Well, actually that was the head, which I thought of as me. I could dock with a wide range of peripherals for transport, tools, etc, but had also some limited capabilities built in. In the first part of the dream, I lived with a hu-man, but I tired of his intellectual inferiority and travelled to see the world again. I was financially secure, from trading on the stock exchange and such. So I travelled around on my own, seeing people work on the docks, seeing a sweet girl at a record shop trying to be polite to a confused male customer who could not quite remember the name of the record nor the artists or anyone involved. He just knew what he wanted. At the end of the dream, I struck up a conversation with a petty thief who had a stolen pedal-bike. The young man became highly frustrated when I magnetically activated the lock from a distance, but he did not know that this was my handiwork. He proceeded to try to sell the now useless bike there on the street, and I continued to pose questions and comments that made him all but tell out loud that he had stolen it. Small metal talking heads tend to keep folks off-balance, it seems.

The day was somewhat less interesting. I did next to nothing all day, never even getting out of my pajamas. (When I don't go out, I tend to keep in pajamas or fuzzy jogging suits whenever possible.) Spent the rest of the cheese on my dinner, which was delicious, with many different sorts of pasta, and mild herbs/spice. Played favorite games, hang out online a few hours, and generally acted a lot younger than I am.

Tomorrow will presumably be more preparations for the wedding. I haven't even reserved a train ticket. That will depend on whether I stay overnight there or just go in for the day. Ideally I would take a few days off, but things will be pretty chaotic there for a while I guess. And I still dont know the status of M.
