Pic of the day: Still here and not visibly reduced. Well, not dramatically at least.

Still alive

I felt slighly better today, but in retrospect I realize that I am just getting used to the sickness. I no longer try to eat bread, only drink juice or soda (typically mixed with water) or a cup of yogurt when I'm not queasy. As long as I do this, I only have fairly short bouts of nausea. As a result, the bowel movements are becoming less painful and abnormal. (It seems that the queasiness creates some kind of fake movements in the intestines, making them mistake it for an impending bowel movement.)

Because I had adapted so readily to the situation, I foolishly neglected to make an attempt to seek medical assistance. After all, it's less than a week since I last saw the doctor, albeit for entirely unrelated symptoms. (Or they seemed unrelated at the time. I don't know, since I don't know what it is.)

Given that Norway pretty much comes to a stop in Easter (we are a nominally Christian country), medical assistance will be limited to dire emergency from Wednesday evening until Tuesday morning. Actually I won't get really worryingly sick again until Wednesday afternoon, but I didn't know that today.
