Coded green.
No pic of the day? I have an idea here but I don't have the time to make it or people will start worrying already. Perhaps I'll make it later, or next year when I see that it still isn't there... Fate is yelling at meI was working on my second entry about enlightenment, about the importance of first getting out of the old tribal consciousness before we can go to the next stage. I used examples from the Bible. I was working quite seriously on it. And my hand is still hurting, so I used the speech recognition software (which is actually working better on this machine, clearly now). While sucking on a C vitamin tablet, I got something in my throat. It made my vocal cords clam up, a frightening experience, but they recanted in time. I still have coughing fits on and off. And my voice is of course changed for the duration, too. I hope I won't actually need a donkey to talk to me before I realize that I am not supposed to do what I'm doing. I am not quite sure why, but probably I am not worthy of writing about this kind of thing. Or perhaps it would cause people to think I was some kind of guru, which I am not. I'm just some guy who was born smart, stayed curious, and likes to understand stuff. OK, OK, here's the short version. Reader's Digest, so to speak. Moses went alone up on the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights before he came back with the Law. Jesus went alone into the desert for 40 days and 40 nights, and later he held the Sermon on the Mount. But if you walk into the desert and never come back, you aren't much help. Got it? ^_^ ***Speaking of which, my computer just decided that it doesn't have the CD/DVD player anymore. No Sir, no CD player here. No such hardware. What is it with virtually every computer I buy being this shitty? I know I buy cheap stuff, but that's supposed because it is low-spec, not because I want hardware that breaks on the way home. If I hand the computer in for repair, I can probably not expect it back for a few weeks. (The last took a couple months, admittedly at a competing shop. The CD burner, which also broke after a short while, was supposed to take two weeks.) If I don't hand it in, it sure won't repair itself. Perhaps I should just wait till I buy a new computer in a few months. It's not like I can't play DVD on the portable, which is from Hewlett Packard. For some reason, I have very good experiences with HP. So far. Anyway, someone just claimed what little was left of my hand. Good night. |
