Oh, once in your life you find someone A hopeless caseLately they have been playing beautiful songs in Spaceworld. What? Spaceworld is chain of electronics shops here in Norway, with shops centrally located but prices slightly higher than competitors. They have a lot of mobile phones, MP3 players, game consoles and computer games, though they rarely sell computers anymore. They have a logo that looks suspiciously like the Silver Surfer. Anyway, they have a shop in Kristiansand, the city where I work. And in that shop they have lately been playing music I like. This is no easy feat. Most shop music is bland at best, and in shops for young people it is often outright ugly and evil. But this is music from when I was young, I guess. The song they played today certainly was. Then again I was young for a fairly long time. I was there yesterday too, and lingered |
