I woke up at 7 in the morning from a leg cramp. It was my left calf. It usually is, but sometimes it is the right. Also it only happens on average once a year or so. Actually average is a bit misleading here, it can be as often as a few weeks apart or as much as a couple years. I have found no pattern in it. And contrary to what an online friend thinks, I suspect potassium is not part of it. I eat a lot of milk, which is fairly rich in potassium. Well, it is not concentrated like in a pill, but milk is something you eat for food, not as a food supplement. (Unless you are lactose intolerant, in which case you should eat bananas instead.
