Telescope

Pic of the day: Waiting for the stars? Wood nymphs? Senior citizens making out in the parking lot? The answer depends on how well you know me, if at all.

One great thing about weekends is that I actually prepare my own food. That means lots of pasta, cheese, olive oil, and mild spices. The usual. (And raspberry soda for the Saturday afternoon.) To quote Darklands: "You feel strangely content, as if a higher power intended them to meet such a fate."

I feel the urge to write again, but so far I am resisting, albeit barely. I have this weird feeling that whatever I write under the influence of Infinity's music is going to be ... slightly fluffy, to say the least. Of course, I could be wrong. But usually I play Irish music before writing fantasy.

Frost outside, but not extreme. A thin snow cover reflects the light, making it pleasantly bright. The days are noticeably longer now. A month or two, and there should be large pools of warm sunshine in my living room to curl up in.

Got the phone bill, and it wasn't all that extreme. I'm certainly going to notice it on my bank account if I pay it, though. Oh yes. But theoretically I can pay it without borrowing somewhere else, at least. :) There are also 13 calls on the non-modem line which I think should not be there, they're call to 810 numbers (service phones). It might be that I used that line to call the Net (which has such a number) for a couple of days, I'm not sure. Anyway it's a very minor amount, but it makes me wonder.
And with the new price structure (more for connection, less for time) I consider going back to just one ground-based phone line and one mobile phone. This would make me hard to reach when I'm online, but seriously, that's not a large part of the day. (And it's not every month that somebody tries to call me, either.) I may also reconsider the type of mobile phone subscription, since I call perhaps 5 minutes a year from it. A prepaid card would probably be cheaper than a running account. But it's rather insignificant anyway. A few pizza slices really.

Rosa went wild in the clothes shoppe in Daggerfall today! (Sorry about the sandals.)
