Coded green.
Pic of the day: I don't even need clingy people to disturb my sleep, like the main character in the anime My Hime here. Sleep patternsThe change was really on Friday. After going almost without sleep for three days and two nights, I fell asleep at eight in the evening. I did not wake up until about five in the morning. Nine hours of sleep, but I could need that. That was not a great surprise. Saturday was. I fell asleep around nine in the evening and once again slept till around five in the morning. Since then I have continued to fall asleep in the evening and wake up fairly early in the morning. At work today, people were surprised to see me that early. It is not the first time it has happened, and especially on a Monday, but it is still unusual. This too will eventually pass. Because my day is not 24 hours but rather 25. I have read that this is the natural length of the day when people are isolated in caves with no clue from the outside or from clocks. But with me it is more like the clocks around me and the daylight are unable to adjust my biological clock. Of course, I eventually run into trouble since I can't sleep at work (only occasionally nap if there is nothing very important going on for a few minutes). Those days when my natural sleep hours coincide with work hours can be pretty bad. On the other hand, days like today can be pretty good. Coming to work early, going home late... it doesn't sound great, but it means I will have a reserve later when I cannot be at work a full day. Of course, with all that work and trying to clean up at least part of my apartment before the inspection on Wednesday... there's not much else to say. Two volumes of the manga "Pita Ten" arrived in my mailbox, but I was too tired to read them. I'll bring them with me on the bus tomorrow. Normally I sleep on the bus, at least on my way home from work. But these days are not normal, at least when it comes to sleep. |
