Go mad?

I've largely spent my day watching Japanese cartoons about a boy and a ghost and some other guys who play Go. I find it unlikely that anything I write after such a day is going to make sense. I must say I'm impressed, though, that anyone can make such a thing entertaining.

Go seems fiendishly complicated, because it is so simple. You have to make up your own complications, and this of course is what humans excel in. I understand that computers still have trouble playing Go. Well, full size Go at least. Then again, so would I.

I am so going to regret this, but there's a mini-go tutorial game engine for Windows free to download from smart-games.com.

And now, if you will excuse me ... I have to Go.
