Pic of the day: The Sims are off to work. Not that they need to, I just wanted the picture. I, however, still need to work. Work againI went to work again. It wasn't bad. I think I might like working, if I only do it a day or two each week. But that's not how society works. Some people work overtime, others not at all. If you have the skills that are in high demand (and short supply) then you are supposed to work and work and work, but otherwise you can stay home and drink your beer. I don't like beer, but I'd like to get money for nothing. But not if it means being sick for the rest of my life. I'd like to have it like my Sims, who don't need to go to work but just paint a few pictures when their bills are due. Of course, those are the Sims with a spartan lifestyle. Then again, so is mine, by Norwegian standards. And I am working on it getting even more so. I guess I could play my DAoC characters up to level 50 and then sell them. I see some people do it, but it is illegal. Besides, much of the fun in the playing is the friends you get, and selling their friend off to a socially retarded Ebay customer would feel like a betrayal. Still, there are classes I could level without too much social interaction ... Hmm. More thoughts on this another day, perhaps. |
Wet, kinda mild, but snow remains on ground. |
Visit the Diary Farm for the older diaries I've put out to pasture.
