Indigestion happens

Thank the Light It's Friday! I am tired, my stomach hurts, and I couldn't get home from work right away because my guts were running wild. I did get home an hour later without soiling myself, but my digestion has been growling at me. It's one of those days where you wonder why you even got up in the morning... but then you consider that you may not always be able to do that.

I have not yet come to the days of which I must say that I have no pleasure in them. While the sense pleasures of the day have been somewhat limited compared to my norm, I have other interests too. For instance, I have enjoyed getting more acquainted with my new role play character for the upcoming moderated role play at Acid Reflux. He started out as little more than a copy of another character from one of my novels, but has already grown his own little personality. Glorrus Fud is a Lightwielder, a fairly serious type of magic user to offset his goofy name. I look forward to the challenge of role playing a person who literally cannot lie. Well, at least not without suffering intense physical pain, which kinda makes it obvious if he tries.

I hope the RP won't get derailed by the various disagreements between the players on completely unrelated topics. At least I feel that this time I am doing what I can to pull it off. Besides posting ideas, I have been busy making backstory for my own character, and eventually preparing him for making up with some of the other characters.

In other news, I have downloaded super Dave skins for Freedom Force. The Dave in question is a character from the comic College Roomies from Hell by Maritza Campos. Now if someone would make a skin for MindMistress ... (free plug because the lack of activity at the message board there. I planned to use that board as a first step to rule the world, and then suddenly it fell all silent ...)

Now if you will excuse me, I intend to go online soon and see if I find some of my fellow Refluxers on IRC. Before I fall asleep here... it feels like it has been a long week.
