Pic of the day: Do I look like a student to you? Or a sex object for barely legal boyz?

Backside students

OK, I know I have a cute butt, but this is ridiculous. Yesterday as I walked home from the bus, 3 young boys were following behind me. They were dog-whistling and shuffling their feet, generally making an annoyance of themselves. It's not like there was anyone else around, so there could be any doubt about their attention. When I stopped to let them pass, they stopped too.

The boys continued to follow me for several hundred meters, until our roads parted. At this point one of them came over and apologized, although he offered no explanation. He asked me if I had been scared, perhaps because he saw the couple tears that were running down my cheeks. "Not of you" I explained, "but of myself. I had a childhood that did not teach me to interact with others in a nice way." Which is true enough, although it is even more true that I have had decades to judge the darkness in my soul and still haven't done so. I had secretly checked my knife, even though I did not expect to use it.

And now back to the lighthearted stuff again. Not content to apologize and leave, the rather upper middle class looking boy asked me whether I was a student. Frankly, I did not feel that our situation was one that invited to getting to know each other, so I curtly told that I was a working man, although I do read some. I then took my leave.

Do I look like a student to you people? The three boys together were probably older than I, but not by much. They looked like 16 or thereabout, and they certainly acted no older. Am I really becoming so irresistible that even boys can't restrain themselves, or had they just flunked their sex-ed classes? (Not to mention age-ed classes. Perhaps that's the next big thing...) No matter which way I turn this, it must be the weirdest set of compliments I've gotten as far as I can remember.

(For those of you who, for comparison, wonder how my backside actually looks, there's plenty of photos in my older archives, all of them tastefully clothed. I think.)
