For a popularity sim, Arlene Fisher was max unlucky. She was by nature the grouchiest sim in Sugar Hills, and her only contact with people was her job behind the counter in the mall. Her only friend was Leon Olsen, and even he barely remembered her until she called again. Then one day she met Bob Jordan, and was amazed by his unshakable calm. He seemed if anything amused by her grumpiness. When he explained that he had learned the secrets of a calm mind from a djinn, she was hooked. Later, when Bob went to college, Arlene followed him there. She soon made several new friends, although she still kept an eye on Bob. And he on her, it turned out. They are now engaged, although she is still grumpy. Arlene graduated in 51 and moved with Bob to the family apartments in Micropolis.
