Chapter 3: For the love of Go

Barely was Tosha Go arrived at STFU before she was noticed by someone she had never met before. Andrew McGaw suddenly saw before him the girl of his dreams! But how to make a good impression on her? Well, first he had to make her notice him. Subtle, boy. Nothing outrageous....

"Wanna come with me to this great party?"
"Eh. Not really. No thanks."
"But it's gonna be real fun. All the cool guys and girls will be there..."
"Nah. I'm not a party girl at all. Besides, I barely even know you."
"You could get to know me a lot better... Like, REALLY..."
"Not that way, sorry."

So she didn't know him, huh? Andrew made a habit of being nearby wherever Tosha was. When she was dancing to the stereo, he would quietly come and sit down with his school work nearby.

When she was dancing to the live music, he would offer constructive criticism.

And even when she was dancing with someone else, Andrew would incidentally sit down to watch TV nearby. Just so she didn't forget.
[Seriously, I just stopped taking pictures. He kept it up as long as she stayed there. At least he made it look natural, unlike the student I wrote about a few weeks ago who took his meals in the library when the girl was studying there.]

"Look, Andrew. I have noticed how you're always around. That's fine, but you have to realize that we are just good friends. You're just one of many..."
"I know. It's him, isn't it?"
"Well, yeah."

It's him.

Somehow just being with him makes me feel happy, even though he's really a big dork.

"What's with the shocked expression?"
"It's... it's the first time I've grabbed a girl's butt!"
"A girl's? So how many BOYS have you grabbed?"
"I think I'm gonna EXPLODE!!"

So one day they quietly got engaged ... while Andrew was at class, incidentally. They wanted to have it done before they went back home to Rainbow Hills. There was no doubt by now, the Reinboe mansion was going to be their future home together.

The discerning observer will notice that there are two small beds in this bedroom instead of one large. That's because it is Marius and Tosha's bedroom, and they are not married yet. They better get it done quickly though, or they will surely explode.

Margaret and Tosha, it's a bit late to discuss wedding dresses now. The guests are gathered ... well, most of them are. One of them is sleeping upstairs. And yes, the blue-haired guy next to Tosha is Andrew. Old habits die hard...

OK, now it is seriously getting serious here. Don't look so nervous Marius. You're a family Sim too, remember?

For once, Andrew is not standing next to Tosha. Guess it is starting to sink in, huh?

And then it is done! Somewhat disappointingly, at least half a dozen people are still inside eating and playing the instruments. Oh well. Your guardian angel now pronounces you hubby and wife. Get a double bed already.
