Pic of the day: "For a normal woman, doing things like this would constitute an enjoyable day." These words endeared Tsubaki Mapputatsu to me immediately. (She was pretending to go on a date with the main character while they were looking for a rogue ninja.)

Fast forward

I'm not sure there really are normal people, although there sure are some who think they are. They are probably precious and unique like snowflakes. Of course, all snowflakes melt eventually. I guess knowing that is what makes us feel special.

Nothing interesting happened to me today, as far as I know. My thoughts spent their day far away from my body, in their curious flight to faraway worlds. It helps that the dollar is once again cheap compared to the Norwegian Crown, so I have bought two historical fantasy novels from Fictionwise.com. They are by Naomi Novik, about a Napoleonic war fought with dragons. A pretty crazy idea, but well implemented.

You should really consider switching to e-books. Not only do they take up next to no space... you can have thousands of them on a hard disk, but you could also just store them online and download them as needed. They are also searchable, so if you're sure you read some particular thing somewhere, you can search for it without thumbing through the book staring up and down the pages. But not least, you don't need to wait for them to arrive, you don't need to go fetch them. You buy them, and they are in your hand. Just like that. Books at your fingertips.

But you are probably normal, aren't you, and love the smell and the touch of the book. You couldn't imagine giving up your current practice for something you haven't even tried and have no plans to ever try.

That's OK, I have it the same way with romance. Me and Tsubaki-chan both. ^.^
