Asian ASCII art - cat

Pic of the day: This kitten is taken from a flash animation with extended ASCII art based on the anime Azumanga Daioh and an upbeat Asian pop song I don't recognize.

Fast forward

The main event was that I saw a street vendor selling electric toy animals: Kittens, puppies and bunnies. They were ambling about in a large flat box, occasionally making noises that were supposed to be representative of their species but were not convincingly so. Still, it was pretty obvious which was which. I like the kittens best. Then again, I generally do.

I did not buy any because I find street vendors suspicious. They are usually operating on the very edge of the law if not beyond, not paying taxes or customs, not following safety regulations and not honoring warranties, if any. In short, they are untermenschen and muss be exterminated! Ja! ... OK, got a bit carried away there. But they're a dubious lot and the kitten would probably break down in a few hours or contain traces of industrial poison or Far Eastern viruses.

Shame, because I'd really like to have an electric kitten.

My 2 and especially 3 years ago entries were pretty good. Better than anything I could write today.
