Yellow spring bush

Pic of the day: It's just a bush. It's not burning or anything. Besides, the picture is weeks old. But it was kinda nice.

The day before tomorrow

I'll be short here, for nothing of great interest happened today. But tomorrow, there is more excitement than I want to see again for decades to come. So let's skip ahead shortly.

Oh yes, I should mention that I decided against buying groceries today, as I would rather go buy them tomorrow. The local supermarket is half an hour's walk away, just right for some nice and healthy exercise.

Oh, and on the bus I read an interesting article in Scientific American about the new view on arteriosclerosis. It wasn't entirely new to me, but it was the first time I read it in such detail. Basically, cholesterol does not just accumulate on the inner walls of the arteries like a snow drift. Rather, a plaque is an inflammation, and the immune system plays a big part in its development.

Bet you are curious now.
