Coded green.

Spring trees

Pic of the day: Once again, the trees begin to dress in green, such a beautiful sight after months of black and white.

Visiting real life

This day I ventured outdoors. Or, as some of us like to say, "the big room with the blue ceiling and the too bright lamp". I noticed, without much surprise, that spring had begun while I had been playing City of Heroes this past month. Actually it must have been only the last few days that the trees have begun to grow leaves, for the leaves were still small and some trees were still bare. But that won't last long now, for the weather is mild and the days are long.

Even though it is a long time since the snow left, only a few days have been actually warm. Even now there is no summer in the air, just the absence of winter. So I can understand the hesitation of the forest. But this too will pass, surely.

Walking to the shop and back (half an hour or so each way) was comfortable. I brought my minidisc player with me, but the songs inside me were really enough. I guess I should update my anime song collection on MD, but I am too lazy to do it now. And in a few days I'll be back in Paragon City. Will I ever get out of there alive?

Even when walking through all the beauty of spring ... the early flowers, the trees light green with new leaves ... I occasionally get the urge to fly or teleport. It is just a stray impulse, it is not like I'm going to jump from a cliff or anything. But I guess I was pretty thoroughly brain washed by the game, wasn't I? But then again I have had such impulses before, caused by my dreams. The game is more like my dreams than anything. More so than real life. But real life has the benefit of being real, when I take the time to appreciate that.

The journal is still lagging. For the latest news, I suppose you can look at my LiveJournal. It is rather short and really targeted at a limited circle of young online friends, but it does have the latest breaking news.
