Margarita's family moved back to their family homestead near Micropolis shortly after the passing of her great aunt, professor Gayle Newton. At first she was mostly seen in the company of Gayle's housemate and lover, Charles Craft, but eventually she made friends with some of the local teenagers. Merlin invited her to the Pseudo-dorm after she spontaneously visited him in college.
