Linda was a quiet, friendly teenager with romantic dreams of her own house and home and a loving husband. All of this came to pass after she met Luke Hancock in college. But while Luke is always around to pay attention to her and their children, he is also not earning any money. (He does grow some vegetables though.) And with Linda almost constantly on maternity leave, the promotions have not exactly come thick and fast. Theirs is the only family in Micropolis still struggling under a debt far above the worth of their house. And with their large family, they have no chance to walk out on their mortgage and live in an apartment. Linda does not worry overmuch, though. Somehow it will all be alright in the end.
