One of the early townie teens, Deloris did not latch on to the Micropolis teens as quickly as some others. She is at her best with her nose in a book. Even so, she is one of Bob Jordan's very best friends, and they have been friends since early in high school. So it was only natural that she eventually went to the same college as he, and took up residence in the "Jordan house" as people are starting to call it. There she also got to know Alfred Larsen, who fell in love with her and she with him. Deloris graduated and moved the Collegiate Apartments in 52, while Alfred still had some studying left to do.
